FOR CURIOUS HEARTS
This is where the fine art of rewilding begins
I am a small-scale rewilder and artist, dedicated to repairing the insect layer through mindful, curated design. My work bridges the gap between structured order and wild ecosystem recovery, weaving living sanctuaries where both beauty and wild entanglement belong.
Whether you are looking for creative inspiration, fine art for your walls, or practical insight for your own patch of land, you can explore my world through the paths below.

Step into a living story of small-scale rewilding
Frowning Sparrow Woods is my working research site and my legacy project—a place where wildlife will always belong. Instead of traditional land management, I am actively researching methods to repair the insect layer, testing how targeted habitat creation can rebuild the very foundation of our food webs.

Small-scale Rewilding
Explore the gallery of Frowning Sparrow Woods, a wet woodland in Essex, capturing an evolving visual record of small-scale rewilding in action. These images document the raw beauty of letting a landscape heal, offering a glimpse of what is possible when we step back and donate larger spaces and smallholdings to wildlife.

Garden Rewilding
From poor soil came failures, and from failures, a better way forward. Facing those tough growing conditions firsthand shifted my entire perspective on garden rewilding. I am currently researching how to turn these valuable lessons into resilient planting designs, proving that you don’t need perfect ground to invite biodiversity back to your space.

Through continuous observation and wildlife gardening, I develop small-scale rewilding practices that can easily be scaled down for gardens, courtyards, and small landscapes across the UK.
On my journal, Today I’m a Wolf, I share the honest process behind this work—including the vintage lenses used to document it. Over time, these lessons will grow into practical planting templates and zines, helping you repair the insect layer and spark ecological recovery in your own small space.

Support the ongoing restoration of Frowning Sparrow Woods through original fine art photography prints
Each print captures the plants and wildlife emerging as this land is gradually restored into a thriving wildlife habitat in Essex.
By collecting a print, you help support the continued research, observation, and ecological work behind this project.
bring the wild home
There is a particular solace in bringing the quiet rhythms of the natural world indoors—a texture, a mood, or a fleeting moment of light captured on vintage lenses that changes the feeling of a room.
My online gallery features a curated collection of limited-edition fine art photography prints. Photography books and small zines are currently in development as part of the evolving project.
Every piece of art you bring into your space directly supports the ongoing land restoration, research, and wildlife gardening work at Frowning Sparrow Woods and the development of methods that can be shared across gardens and small landscapes throughout the UK.

My work is rooted in care for the living world, from the restoration of Frowning Sparrow Woods to the studio where the artwork is produced. The land restoration at Frowning Sparrow Woods is focused on creating and supporting habitats where wildlife can thrive.
This same ethic extends into my photographic practice. My studio process is entirely cruelty-free, with all prints produced using vegan-friendly, museum-grade bamboo-cotton papers and pigment inks.
Every piece is made with materials chosen to be as kind to the earth as possible, without compromising on quality or longevity.
